This is my first day at art class. A still life demonstrating washes and the focus. Well it is supposed to. I was quite pleased with it and wasnt the worst in the class which is good.
Lots of thing wrong with it, but at least I know that.
we had a really good class, 13 all up, and some very good painters which puts one on their metal.
I am tired so this is all you get.

Excellent! Limiting the colour is a good idea and I like the way you have used verticals and horizontals. Enjoy your class Penny. Is this picture bigger than your usual size?

You have had a rough year. I hope the teacher doesn't take away your spontenaity. I go back and forth between wanting to find somebody to teach me. I think your gift is in composition, so maybe learning some technique will help.
That comment of yours worried about "looking within" for painting...
