While having coffee

This is a very hasty sketch done of the building what is where I was having coffee, although very hot we sat outside under an umbrella when we got back from Adelaide doing hair cuts and visiting my mother. Adelaide was 38 degrees and Victor wasnt much better but we had to collect mail so it seemed better than going home where it was even hotter.
I did actually manage to get the paints out though to throw over the pen but John was complaining of being hot so it was rather thrown on.
Well after 6 pm and it is still so hot outside, I have fed the dogs but am waiting till later to feed the ponies and water the pots.

A lovely 'sketch' Penny, the colours are well chosen and seem to capture the heat of the day. It's quite warm here on KI also, the fans are working overtime and new and unusual bugs are appearing inside! We took the dog down to Western River Cove for a swim tonight so we are all feeling weary.

Great, loose watercolor. I love it.

I think the 'thrown on' watercolour works very well Penny and it is a lovely pallette of colours.

The limited colour scheme works well and the nice free way with the lines and shapes.
Yeah, it is so so hot. When a visitor called an hour ago I just stayed in my wrap-around sulu. She told me that Ballarat had about six inches in a freak storm!
